DriverShaab Secures Rs 2.82 Crore in Pre-Series A to Organize India’s B2B Mobility Infrastructure
Kolkata-headquartered B2B mobility venture DriverShaab has secured Rs 2.82 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, led by Firstport Capital and Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), the Gurugram-based angel investment platform. The round is a strategic turning point for the startup, which looks to revolutionize India’s disparate driver services ecosystem with technology-driven solutions.

DriverShaab, which was founded by Avijit Das, provides on-demand driver aggregation, logistics support, and employee transport solutions for businesses. The company will utilize the funds to boost its platform’s scalability, operational excellence, and tech infrastructure.

“Our goal is to create seamless, tech-driven solutions that address the unique challenges of driver service. We’re committed to building a reliable and sustainable ecosystem that delivers value to our clients and drives growth in the industry,” said Avijit Das, CEO and founder of DriverShaab.

Driving the Future of B2B Mobility
DriverShaab, launched in Kolkata, is filling a key mobility gap in India—on-demand, verified, and professional driver services for businesses. Its solutions are designed for fleet operators, logistics companies, employee transportation managers, and corporates who typically grapple with manual driver procurement and inefficiencies in supply management.

Through a tech-enabled aggregation model, DriverShaab simplifies hiring, deployment, and real-time monitoring of drivers, making the service more reliable, reducing downtime, and improving compliance.

The firm has already enabled transactions of Rs 26 crore, highlighting an increasing demand for its services in Tier-1 cities and enterprise segments.

Investor Confidence in Mobility-as-a-Service
Commenting on the investment, Mitesh Shah, Co-Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, said:

“Companies from various industries depend on effective driver management since inefficiencies can impact fleet operations, employee transport, and logistics. DriverShaab uses technology to optimize driver aggregation, ensuring smooth deployment, minimizing downtime, and improving service reliability. With its scalable offerings and robust execution, the startup is a promising bet in the transforming mobility space.”

The funding round is at a time when India’s driver management and fleet aggregation space is ready to be disrupted. The B2B mobility services market, valued at more than $900 million today, is poised to grow exponentially as digitalization seeps into traditionally unorganized industries.

Creating Scalable and Sustainable Driver Services
DriverShaab’s value proposition centers around addressing three fundamental issues in driver-led mobility operations:

Fragmented driver supply

Unpredictable service quality

Absence of digital tracking and transparency

With a tech-infused foundation of driver onboarding, rating, and training, DriverShaab is not merely developing a driver marketplace—but constructing an end-to-end driver management platform for the enterprise economy.

The latest funding round will also be leveraged to fuel pan-India growth, introduce new city presence, and include AI-based driver reliability scoring tools, automated assignments, and AI-driven predictive fleet performance insights.

The Road Ahead
DriverShaab’s mission is in sync with India’s larger logistics and mobility aspirations—to digitalize and professionalize every connection in the mobility supply chain. With this capital, the startup is well-placed to seize large-scale opportunities in areas such as e-commerce, hospitality, corporate fleets, and last-mile logistics.

With the company looking to take off to its next growth phase, the focus continues to be on tech innovation, operational excellence, and geographical expansion.

“This round is a strategic step toward making DriverShaab India’s leading B2B driver services platform,” said Das. “We’re solving a real pain point with a mix of technology and on-ground execution, and we’re just getting started.”
