MS Dhoni-Backed EMotorad Joins Hands with Booz Mobility for Green Intra-Campus TravelTransforming

Under this partnership, EMotorad will serve as the exclusive supplier of electric kick scooters for Booz Mobility, helping the startup enhance intra-campus mobility across gated communities and urban centers.

A Game-Changer for Micro-Mobility
With the growing demand for sustainable and efficient urban commuting solutions, this partnership aims to redefine short-distance travel within gated premises, corporate campuses, and metro areas.

EMotorad’s Contribution:
EMotorad, supported by ex-Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, has been a trendsetter in electric mobility solutions, manufacturing high-quality e-bikes and intelligent mobility solutions. The firm will be delivering 500 Lil E electric kick scooters to Booz Mobility by the end of FY25, enhancing last-mile connectivity and intra-campus mobility.

Booz Mobility’s Vision:
Established by Rutvij Dasadia, Booz Mobility is a pioneering operator in EV Fleet-As-A-Subscription services, with its main customers being gated communities, business parks, and corporate complexes. Booz Mobility aims to provide services to 850 million square feet of gated properties by 2025, utilising EMotorad’s Lil E electric scooters as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly commuting solution.

Lil E: The Future of Electric Kick Scooters
One of the most interesting elements of this alliance is EMotorad’s Lil E electric kick scooter, specifically intended for city and intra-campus travel. The lightweight, small, and high-performance e-scooter promises to offer handy, environmentally friendly, and budget-friendly transport for short-distance traveling.

“We are thrilled with this alliance, as it totally complements our goal of redefining the Indian electric transportation of the future,” says Kunal Gupta, CEO of EMotorad.

“Our Lil E is a unique kick scooter that keeps innovation, design, and performance in mind while creating fun movements. We’re excited to kick off this journey with Booz Mobility as our partnership paves the way for innovative and sustainable solutions in clean transportation,” said Gupta.

With intelligent technology, sleek design, and an emphasis on sustainability, Lil E is poised to revolutionize the micro-mobility industry and offer frictionless mobility solutions in urban spaces.

The Impact on Indian Urban Mobility
The alliance between EMotorad and Booz Mobility is timely as India’s urban mobility space is rapidly changing. With growing traffic jams, air pollution, and the demand for affordable transport options, electric kick scooters have become a viable and eco-friendly solution for short-distance commutes.

The alliance will:

Enhance last-mile connectivity in gated communities, colleges, and business parks.
Cut down on carbon footprint by promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs) within cities.
Provide an affordable option compared to conventional fuel-based two-wheelers.
Promote smart and green mobility with shared micro-mobility solutions.
Booz Mobility’s CEO, Rutvij Dasadia, underlined the long-term effect of this effort:

Under this partnership, the mindset towards micro-mobility in India and how it can address larger mobility issues involving short distances will be transformed. With EMotorad as our strategic partner, we are hoping to cater to around 850 million square feet of gated compounds in metro cities by 2025, and we want to offer a green, efficient, and futuristic commute option for tens of thousands of users.

With India poised for EV adoption, such partnerships will be at the forefront in making sustainable urban transportation a reality, decreasing congestion, and curbing reliance on fossil fuels.

Sustainable Growth and Future Prospects
With EV adoption gathering pace in India, OEM and mobility service provider partnerships are anticipated to become a regular occurrence. This alliance will be a harbinger of what is to come in future Indian EV industry partnerships, fueling innovation and bolstering consumer confidence in micro-mobility offerings.

EMotorad’s sustainability focus, together with Booz Mobility’s fleet-as-a-service business model, will make EVs an essential component of India’s urban transport landscape.

In the future, the alliance can result in:

Booz Mobility’s fleet expansion to other metropolitan cities and urban centers.
Development of sophisticated versions of Lil E, with IoT-based tracking, geofencing, and better battery efficiency.
Policy partnerships with city governments for the propagation of EV-based last-mile transportation solutions.
Conclusion: A Step Towards Greener Cities
The partnership between EMotorad and Booz Mobility is a first for India’s electric vehicle industry and proves that locally developed startups and original equipment manufacturers can join forces to produce economically viable and green urban mobility options.

With greater cities turning toward electric micro-mobility, the adoption of smart transport modes such as Lil E can play an important role in determining Indian transportation’s future.

Through their shared vision for efficiency, sustainability, and innovation, EMotorad and Booz Mobility are setting the pace for a more sustainable, smarter, and accessible urban transport system.
